Bringing together five buildings and more than 150,000 sq ft on London’s Drury Lane, our project with Hines, Grain House, is a heritage-led transformation that carefully balances restoration with contemporary design.

Our project with Peloton brought the brand’s distinctive identity to life throughout its new Covent Garden, with the iconic logo appearing in a variety of considered ways across the building.

The double-height reception at 90 Fetter Lane, our project with Evans Randall, transforms the arrival experience, combining contemporary architecture, natural light and a striking permanent light installation.

The industrial-style staircase in the reception of Grainhouse, our project with Hines, is just one of the details that connects the completed building with its past.

One of the first features visitors notice as they enter BAFTA’s regenerated 195 Piccadilly headquarters is the bespoke stained glass-inspired installation created by artist Maya Simms.

Throughout our 25 Savile Row project with Derwent London, carefully crafted joinery plays an important role in shaping the character of the interiors. From wall paneling, beautifully created furniture, to finely detailed finishes, these bespoke elements bring warmth, texture and precision to our client’s headquarters.

Our Special Works team were proud to have delivered the refurbishment of Westminster Chapel, helping to transform this remarkable Grade II listed landmark into a more welcoming, accessible and sustainable space for both its congregation and the wider community.

Our latest Graduate and Apprentice catch-up brought together this year’s intake with recent graduates and apprentices for an afternoon of learning, catching up and seeing one of our projects in action.

Looking back at our Special Works project at Southbank Central. The scheme introduced a calming open-air setting within the glazed atrium gallery, combining soft landscaping with a striking bespoke high-level suspended multi-globe lighting installation.

A look back at our project, Newson’s Yard with Grosvenor, a considered redevelopment of London’s oldest timber yard bringing together a distinctive mix of retail, hospitality, workspace and residential spaces in the heart of Chelsea.

Looking back at our Special Works division project at Princess Square Bracknell, where we delivered a refreshed external façade with real visual impact.

One of the standout features of our refurbishment of Building 4, Frederick’s Place with The Mercers’ Company was the careful restoration of this beautiful cantilevered timber elliptical staircase.

It’s been a busy start to the year at Knight Harwood.

From our Spring Social at an immersive VR experience to taking part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon, as well as a summer softball tournament and two football tournaments, there have been plenty of opportunities for colleagues to get together outside of work.

Over the past 20 years, certain projects have helped define not just what we do, but how we do it. One such landmark moment for Knight Harwood was our first collaboration with Hines UK Limited , the comprehensive refurbishment and extension of Grain House on Drury Lane in Covent Garden.

Situated in the heart of London, opposite the BBC on Regent Street, our project with Derwent London, Henry Wood House has long been a recognisable part of the West End skyline, originally constructed in the 1960s as a 16-storey tower with two five-storey interconnecting wings.

Looking back across two decades of design and delivery, some projects stand out not just for what they achieved physically, but for how they reimagined a space. Our work on Peloton’s broadcasting and training centre on Floral Street in Covent Garden is one such project, a dynamic fusion of fitness, media, and architecture right in the heart of London.

We had a wonderful time at this year’s Annual Staff Meeting at the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), with our staff awards once again proving to be a real highlight of the afternoon. It was a pleasure to recognise and celebrate twelve outstanding colleagues whose achievements, dedication, and contributions have made a meaningful impact over the past year.

During the restoration works of Arding & Hobbs, our project with W.RE, careful attention was given to the building’s iconic signage and surrounding façade details.

Looking back on our regeneration of BAFTA’s iconic 195 Piccadilly headquarters, a project that celebrated both heritage and innovation at the heart of British film and television.

Marking 20 years of Knight Harwood gives us the chance to look back at projects that embody our values of quality, care, and excellence in delivery. Among them is the creation of a new home for the Library and Archive of the Church of England.

Looking back at the creation of DL/78 and DL/28 for valued client, Derwent London. With trusted consultants and our supply chain, we helped bring the DL/Lounges concept to life: spaces designed to elevate the everyday, foster connection, and redefine what shared workplaces can be.

One of the most distinctive features of Arding & Hobbs is its iconic clock, set within the cupola above the building.

In celebration of our 20 year anniversary, we are taking a moment to reflect on some of the defining projects that have shaped who we are today.

As part of our BAFTA 195 regeneration project, two large Victorian rooflights were carefully raised and re-integrated, alongside restored decorative plasterwork, to create a bright and elegant new top-floor members’ area.
