20 years of defining projects – Peloton

Looking back across two decades of design and delivery, some projects stand out not just for what they achieved physically, but for how they reimagined a space. Our work on Peloton’s broadcasting and training centre on Floral Street in Covent Garden is one such project, a dynamic fusion of fitness, media, and architecture right in the heart of London.

Creating Peloton’s state-of-the-art centre involved reconfiguring an existing building to house high-performance cycling and treadmill studios with live broadcasting capabilities, alongside changing facilities, retail, office spaces and breakout areas, all over four floors.

From the outset, quality and spatial experience were at the core of every decision: high-quality finishes flow throughout the space, with bespoke joinery, warm timber floors and exposed painted brickwork forming a backdrop that’s both functional and inviting.

Key elements that helped define the project included:

Broadcast-ready studios designed to accommodate live filming and global connectivity.

Natural light-enhancing architecture – numerous staircases were crafted around double-height voids to maximise daylight through existing rooflights.

Thoughtful hospitality spaces with changing and break-out areas that support both community and performance.

The completed project not only supports Peloton’s innovative fitness and media work, but also reflects our commitment to meticulous planning, superior craftsmanship, and collaborative problem-solving in one of London’s most vibrant urban settings.
