Our Integrated Health, Safety and Environmental Policy Statement outlines our commitment as a business to our ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 compliant Health, Safety and Environmental Management System.
Objectives and Targets
Management reviews are at the core of our Integrated Management System. We review our objectives and targets to
ensure continued improvement with regards to our health, safety and environmental performance.
Our Commitment
We are committed to maintaining our Integrated Management System which has been developed to meet the requirements of both ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
As a minimum, we shall:
- Allocate adequate resources to maintain and improve the Integrated Management System
- Develop and follow industry best practice while complying with relevant legal requirements, inclusive of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
- Ensure resources are provided to achieve our commitment to prevent pollution, injury and ill health
- Ensure our employees receive suitable and sufficient information, instruction and training for the roles they undertake
- Assess subcontractors to ensure their continued competence
- Ensure independence within our auditing processes
- Provide a safe working environment for all stakeholders
- Maintain appropriate documentation and records to demonstrate compliance
- Ensure meaningful mechanisms are in place for employee engagement and communication
- Make this policy statement available to the public and other interested parties
- Regularly review our policies and procedures to ensure they are appropriate to the scale of our activities
- Measure, monitor and review the performance of the business through the collection and analysis of data
Approval and Review
This policy statement has been signed by our managing director to demonstrate our commitment to its content. All health, safety and environmental procedures are reviewed annually at Knight Harwood to ensure their continuing effectiveness.
