Grainhouse – Exterior

Bringing together five buildings and more than 150,000 sq ft on London’s Drury Lane, our project with Hines, Grain House, is a heritage-led transformation that carefully balances restoration with contemporary design.

The external façades combine restored original elements with new brickwork, rainscreen cladding and curtain walling. Above, pitched roofs, mansards and terraces create a varied roofscape, while maintaining a clear distinction between the existing and new elements.

The result is a contemporary mixed-use destination that retains a strong connection to the site’s industrial past.
