Grainhouse – Staircase

The industrial-style staircase in the reception of Grainhouse, our project with Hines, is just one of the details that connects the completed building with its past.

The site has a rich industrial history, including its time as the home of seed merchants Watkins & Simpson. That heritage has influenced the design throughout Grainhouse.

The staircase provides a striking focal point within the contemporary reception, bringing together the building’s industrial character with its new identity as a modern workplace and destination.
