Our second project for Intu involved the phased refurbishment of Lakeside Shopping Centre in Essex. The scheme comprised the refurbishment of two existing entrances including structural modifications, suspended stretched fabric light cubes and new back-lit structural glazing; in addition to bespoke feature lighting throughout the malls and refresh works comprising architectural bands in the atrium voids, new ceilings, accent lighting and floor finishes.
Due to the nature of working within a live shopping centre, all our works were undertaken outside of normal trading hours.
