Spotlight on Westminster Chapel

Our Special Works team were proud to have delivered the refurbishment of Westminster Chapel, helping to transform this remarkable Grade II listed landmark into a more welcoming, accessible and sustainable space for both its congregation and the wider community.

Working alongside Scott Whitby Studio and the wider project team, the refurbishment carefully balanced the preservation of the chapel’s historic character with contemporary interventions, including a new accessible entrance, community café and flexible worship space designed to support a wide range of community activities. The project has since been recognised with the 2024 New London Award for Conservation, a testament to the collaborative effort behind its successful delivery.
