The refurbishment and extension of five buildings over 150,000 sq ft on London’s busy Drury Lane, creating flexible leisure, retail and hospitality space on the lower levels; commercial headquarters on the upper floors and the remainder completed to a Cat A specification. This heritage-led scheme draws heavily on the building’s light industrial past and features sensitively restored original features.

The works included heavy structural modifications including deeper basement and substructure works including piling, a new fairfaced concrete core, modifications to existing floors and addition of two new floors. New extended façades of brickwork, rainscreen cladding, curtain walling with a roof scape of pitched roofs, mansards and terracing which maintain a clear division between the new and existing façades and roofs.
